Lumene Screens Technology
The materials used for Lumene screens are chosen with the utmost care, ensuring a high-quality, durable product. It is essential to guarantee optimal tension of the fabric and to make sure that it resists to various levels of humidity and temperature. Moreover, the fabric needs to be stretch resistant and have antioxidant characteristics. Lastly, the canvas must be able to reproduce a perfect picture.
Canvas UHD 4K
The UHD 4K canvas is made from flexible PVC. The surface of the UHD 4K screen is covered in diamond-shaped microbeads which allow a perfect reflection of 4K picture. The lower white layer’s colour temperature is 6000K* and the difference between reflected light and ambient light is less than 60K. What you get is an extremely detailed, pure reflection which is true to the video projector’s original image.

Built on the same foundations as the Lumene UHD 4K canvas, the UHD 4K / 8K Platinum canvas is a 1.3 gain screen. The screen thus reproduces absorbed light more intensely, allowing every detail to be rendered with enhanced precision.

Acoustic Canvas
This canvas is woven with extreme precision. The vertical and horizontal lines are constructed to achieve 92,000 micropores per 10cm² of canvas. The difference in acoustic dampening between 8 kHz & 12.5 kHz and 500 Hz is less than 1 dB and 1.5 dB, which results in exceptional sound transparency. This complex woven structure is designed to be 4K compatible. Furthermore, the screen is anti-UV, washable, mould-resistant, fireproof and adapts to extreme temperatures (between -20°C and 60°C).

Motorised Screens
Coliseum UHD 4K
The Lumene Coliseum UHD 4K is a motorized dab-tensioned video projection screen that will seduce you with its quality finish, ease of use and easy installation. Under tension, this screen offers a superior image quality that’s permanent and unalterable.
The Coliseum UHD 4K has black edges on all its canvases to precisely define the frame of the image and help avoid unwanted reflections. It’s also possible to install your screen in front of a window as Lumene fabrics have an opaque black backing to prohibit any light getting through.
Lumene have chosen aluminium for its lightness, solidity and anti-corrosion properties. They have integrated the new Lumene Silent Motor system which is twice as quiet as a standard screen motor. This new motor features an optimised brake system which extends service life and improves operating comfort.
The installation of your screen is quick and easy. The Coliseum UHD 4K can be mounted to the wall or ceiling using a system of hooks and clips designed for safety.
All our screen canvases are treated to avoid yellowing and are guaranteed for 2 years.
Coliseum UHD 4K Acoustic
The Lumene Coliseum UHD 4K Acoustic is a motorised dab tensioned and acoustically transparent video projection screen that will seduce you with its high quality finish, ease of use and easy installation. Its acoustically transparent canvas allows for a cinema-like installation with the speakers placed behind the screen. An ideal location for good voice reproduction.
Lumene have designed an infared remote control for easy operation and an RS232 Communication Technology serial port to allow intuitive home automation integration and the ultimate in convenience. Finally, a trigger receiver is provided to allow you to synchronize the opening/closing of your screen directly with your projector. A simple solution to make the experience perfect.
Showplace UHD 4K Acoustic
Integrated into the ceiling by a suspension system, the Lumene Show Place UHD4K Acoustic screens disappear completely when closed. Featuring the same extra-drop, lightweight aluminium frame and Silent Motor system as the Coliseum range all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show.

Movie Palace UHD 4K Acoustic
Movie Palace is the best-selling frame video projection screen in France. It’s designed for dedicated cinemas and has an acoustic screen perfectly suited for installation in “cinema” conditions. The wide aluminium frame, covered with black velvet, ensures perfect tension thanks to a fixing system that guarantees a completely flat surface. The velvet finish enhances the contrast of the image and prevents possible annoying reflections. It’s the reference screen for movie lovers.

Movie Palace UHD 4K Extra Bright
100 times brighter than a conventional canvas, this technical surface offers a high level of contrast and the best possible visualisation characteristics in broad daylight. As an extra bright version, the frame is also only 12 mm thick. With extra brightness on the screen and an ultra-slim profile, it discreetly fits perfectly into all interiors and ensures perfect tension thanks to its fastening system. Ambient Light Reflecting fabric offers a microstructured structure. This is a new type of surface that absorbs ambient light from the room while reflecting the light beam of the short-focus projector to the viewer.
