The Elipson Planet L Performance is the embodiment of acoustic excellence combined with an iconic design. This new Planet L has been designed to offer a sound reproduction that is even more extended in the extreme frequencies, more expressive in the midrange and finally more dynamic to meet the demands of the most discerning audiophiles.
A major evolution
The Planet L Performance provides almost double the power handling capacity from a thorough technical overhaul. The new top-of-the-range coaxial driver and treated silk dome tweeter optimised by a Neodymium magnet with a horn boot guarantees a more linear frequency response and even high-frequency diffusion, with distortion reduced to a minimum.
The crossover incorporates high-quality audiophile components: MKP polypropylene capacitors, MKT polyester capacitors, low-resistance inductors and 2.25 mm² OFC internal wiring. This technical choice ensures optimum frequency separation and extremely pure sound reproduction.
Tighter bass and improved dynamics
Thanks to DAR® (Double Asymmetric Rubber) technology, the driver’s peripheral suspension guarantees perfect control, even at high volume. The bass-reflex tuning frequency is adjusted to 50 Hz to perfectly match the speaker’s resonance.
Compatibility and customisation
Planet L Performance retains the dimensions and mounting systems of previous models, guaranteeing total compatibility with existing accessories: wall, stand and ceiling brackets.
